FAQ

Before visiting the salon, we request you review our etiquette, cancellation, service and in-house policies so you can get the most out of your time at Citrus.

Please don’t be late! If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we have the right to reschedule and charge a cancellation fee.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

We reserve the right to charge up to 50% of the services booked if you cancel within 24 hours.

For same-day or no-show cancellations, 100% of your booking will be charged.

You will not be able to book another appointment at Citrus until you pay cancellation fee in full. 

We need a credit card on file to make any booking. We will also ask you to fill out our intake form before any services are performed.

In most cases, your stylist will happily meet with you again* to help you achieve your desired look. This does not mean, however, that you will be able to have your hair redone with a different stylist. If you would like to meet with a new stylist you will be charged full price for their time. 

*Please note that your retouch must be booked within three days of your original styling, and the appointment must take place within one week of your original styling.

Apprentices are the only type of stylist that accept hair models. Their work will be overseen by a mentor.

We require a 50%, non-refundable deposit of the total cost to hold all bridal appointments.

No, if your child is not receiving a service at the salon, we kindly ask that you make alternate arrangements for them.

Sorry, no. We love animals but we ask that you leave them at home.

Short phone calls are just fine, but please, no phone calls longer than a few minutes to respect the space of our other clients.

We typically request you refrain from eating in the salon. However, if your appointment is longer than a few hours, we understand if you need to bring a small snack.

Option 1: Street Parking
If you can snag street parking, great! This option allows you to pay by card or quarters, and is $2.50 per hour. You can also download the “pay by phone” app. This allows you to extend your parking time right from the app!

Option 2: Parking Garage
You can access the parking garage from Grace Street, between Water and Front in the same building as Citrus Salon. You can pay by by card, and the cost is only $3 per hour.

Option 3: Parking Lot
You can also park in the Cotton Exchange Parking Lot across from the parking garage entrance. If you purchase anything Cotton Exchange or get a coffee from Java Dog, your parking will be validated. Otherwise, you can pay by card.
